The power industry is very unique, it is both aging and being renovated. Moving the field forward is our goal. Oak & Shield has been part of several design innovations and continues to participate in IEEE and IEC standards development. Oak & Shield is experienced with fuses, sub-trans switches, distribution switches, sectionalizers, vacuum interrupters, and polymer insulators.

New ideas, products, skills, and partnerships all create value for us and ultimately for our clients. Our process analyzes the intersection of market tends, competitor offerings, current portfolio, internal capability, current strategy, and new technologies.
Product Development
The design validation is a core principle. We are capable of assisting any product engineering, quality, and manufacturing team by checking tolerances and fitment, drafting assembly instructions, building workstations, creating quality control plans, function testing, and product certification testing including witness testing.
